Dear Family,
Greetings from northern Utah! Everyone is doing fine up here. We are healthy, happy, and keeping busy. We think of you often and wonder how you're all doing. Here's what's been happening in this neck of the woods:
Camilla is preparing a special project for the Science Fair. She is gearing up to demonstrate the effects of smoking on the lungs. She also recently tried out for a part in, Oliver, the school play. Camie is taking Jazz dance and piano lessons, holds down a paper route, and is looking forward to beginning the new year of competition soccer. Camilla enjoys playing with Remington. She and dad have been taking Remington to obedience school, and Remington has about got them trained (sic). Remington is bigger and better than ever.
Steven is again playing Jr Jazz. He's a star on the team scoring regularly, calling plays, making assists, and playing defense. He steals the ball from the other team on a regular basis, and even blocks shots with his little four foot two inch frame. His love for the game and hours of practice are paying off on the court. Steven is also taking piano lessons and enjoys practicing. He took second place in the 4th Grade Spelling Bee and subsequently will participate in a Spelling Bee for the entire school with students from every grade.
The little girls are all doing fine and keep the house buzzing with activity.
Linda helps out at the kids’ school. She is helping in the school with the DARE program (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) and periodically tutors children in classes. She also works in the kitchen a couple times a week. Linda enjoys serving in the Young Women's organization. She teaches Sunday lessons, attends the weekly Young Women's evening, and participates in their activities. The Young Men and Young Women spent an evening with residents at the Utah County Developmental Center. They iced Valentines cookies with the occupants and then helped them eat the cookies. They concluded the evening with a Valentines dance. Everyone had an opportunity to dance, and the young people brought smiles to all the faces there. Linda's latest project here at home has been wallpapering the kitchen. She has a real knack when it comes to fixing things up. She is very capable and willing to share her talents with others, in fact, she recently helped sponge paint her friend's living room walls.
Mathew enjoys his job at Corel. His new position has given him many opportunities to use his skills. He is still serving as the ward mission leader.
We are so blessed to have strong, supportive, and loving family ties. We love and appreciate all of you,
Mathew & Co. <http://webuniverse.org/images/stucki.jpg>
P.S. There's a Family Address List on the internet at http://www.webuniverse.org/fam_add.htm. It includes mailing addresses, phone and fax numbers, and email addresses for each of the family
members. If you see changes that should be made or have information to add, click on the link to contact Mathew, and he will make any modifications necessary.
